Franklin is a Baller(-ina)

Not Happy.
I figure certain someones would like their dog bridesmaid dresses done soon. Don't worry, I've started the actual construction of the aforementioned dresses. I'm sizing them with Velcro (TM) so that they fit around a wide variety of dog bodies. Franklin is pissed...

ISFJ, duh!

You Are An ISFJ

The Nurturer

You have a strong need to belong, and you very loyal.
A good listener, you excel at helping others in practical ways.
In your spare time, you enjoy engaging your senses through art, cooking, and music.
You find it easy to be devoted to one person, who you do special things for.

In love, you express your emotions through actions.
Taking care of someone is how you love them. And you do it well!

At work, you do well in a structured environment. You complete tasks well and on time.
You would make a good interior designer, chef, or child psychologist.

How you see yourself: Competent, dependable, and detail oriented

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Boring, dominant, and stuck in a rut

Bears!

So, I'm kind of obsessed with this band. I picked up their CD at Vintage Vinyl a couple months ago, and I've been listening to it ever since. Some of their songs describe my...life... so accurately.

I feel a little bit like an angsty teenager discovering Nirvana for the first time...only I skipped teenage angst in favor of (badly managed) teenage anxiety; missed whatever happens to people in college in favor of a consuming long-distance relationship; and now I'm catching up by being an angsty 25-year-old.

If I were 13, I'd totally be writing their song lyrics on my five-star binder with a sharpie!

I had the chance to go to their show last weekend at the Bluebird, and I had a really good time. I bought a shirt.

Anyway, I highly recommend this band. They're currently on tour and you all should go see them play.

dork:(Also, the Bluebird has really clean bathrooms. We were all remarking on it the other night.)/dork

Outside...

Things aren't looking too good inside the house, so I thought I'd blog about what's going on outside. Since we moved downstairs, our patio has become more than a place for the dogs to pee when it's raining. I've started doing some gardening. The plants have sun only in the afternoons, so the things that are thriving are herbs. Lemongrass and thyme are doing best!

There are a few flowers that are doing ok...

I got this doodad at the thrift store for $1.91. Worth it?
